The R&D 100 Awards and Conference announced its shortlist of 160 finalists in R&D World magazine. The publication recognizes innovative companies’ breakthroughs in research and development for technology products.

Palmeco and NAMI’s joint collaboration on developing the Geo-Insulator made it to their selection as one of the finalists of the R&D 100 Awards 2019. The Palmeco Geo-Insulator entered  in the awards’ mechanical/materials category. This year, the competition received over 3,500 entries around the world.

"We are thrilled our revolutionary green thermal board made it to the final rounds among the leading companies in the world, including Dow Chemical, DuPont, Hitachi Ltd, General Motors, Shell, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and many research laboratories of leading universities," said Wilfred Lau, Chairman and Managing Director of Palmeco.

The R&D 100 Awards has been honouring great R&D pioneers and their revolutionary ideas in science and technology for more than 50 years.
