Supported by the Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI), the Palmeco team conducted a fire resistance test on a Geo-Panel Wall System.
The test ran in accordance to BS EN 1364-1:1999, and took place in November at the Fugro Fire Test Centre, a Hoklas Lab.
We passed the test with very impressive results of 4 hours’ resistance. The test centre was impressed with the speed and ease of the Geo-Panel wall system construction.
The surface board’s temperature remained well below 82ºC with large areas stable at 50ºC-60ºC after 4 hours of burning at 1100ºC.
Well done to the Palmeco team that effortlessly built the wall that passed the test.
